The house
Eromo Moda began at a single cutting table, with a handful of brides who wanted something no shop could sell them: a gown drawn for them alone. Sarah Ukavbe trained as a pattern cutter before she ever called herself a designer, and the house still works that way. Every piece starts with the woman, her measurements and her occasion, and only then with the sketch. As the waiting list grew, so did the questions from young makers who wanted to learn the same craft. The Fashion Academy grew out of those questions, and today the house and the academy share the same atelier and the same standards.
“I make clothes for one woman at a time. When she walks into the room, it should be hers before it is anyone else's.”

The journey
Eromo Moda is founded
A one-room studio and a first commission: a wedding gown for a friend.
The first bridal collection
Eight looks, each made to order and cut to the bride.
The Academy opens
The first batch of students trains alongside the house's own makers.
Clients across fourteen countries
Virtual fittings bring the atelier to brides in the UK, US and Canada.
What we believe
A gown should fit the woman, not the other way round. Every pattern is drafted to her body.
Craft is in the details no one sees: the inner corset, the hand-finished hem, the seam that lies flat.
What we know, we teach. The academy keeps the craft alive in the next generation of designers.
