The 13 measurements
The same numbers as the “My measurements” form on every made-to-order piece.
1 Across back. Shoulder point to shoulder point, across your back.
2 Bust. Around the fullest part, tape level across your back.
3 Waist. Around your natural waistline, where you bend to the side.
4 Hip. Around the fullest part of your hips.
5 Shoulder to nipple. From your shoulder point straight down to the bust point.
6 Shoulder to underbust. From your shoulder point to just under the bust.
7 Shoulder to waist. From your shoulder point straight down to your waist.
8 Nipple to nipple. Straight across, bust point to bust point.
9 Dress length. From your shoulder point to where you'd like the hem.
10 Armhole. Around your arm at the shoulder seam.
11 Bicep. Around the fullest part of your upper arm.
12 Wrist. Around your wrist bone.
13 Sleeve length. From your shoulder point to where the sleeve should end.
Tips
- Use a flexible fabric tape, not a metal one.
- Measure snug, not tight — you should be able to breathe and move.
- Wear fitted clothing, or your underwear, while measuring.
- Stand naturally. Don't hold your breath or pull the tape.
- Ask someone to help with the measurements you can't see, like your back.
